2026-2027 TUITION and FEES
The following are annual/monthly tuition prices. Payments can be made in a lump sum or in 10 monthly payments. Tuition is prorated for singers joining in January.
Primo Voce (grades 2 – 4)
$1,000 / $100 per month
Bella Voce (grades 5 – 6)
$1,250 / $125 per month
Consonare (grades 7 – 12)
$1,500 / $150 per month
(includes overnight fall retreat)
Consonare Encore (grades 9 – 12, Auditioned)
$1,650 / $165 per month
(adds $15 per month to Consonare tuition)
A nonrefundable deposit of the first month’s tuition payment is due with registration.

TUITION REFUND POLICY
We understand that some singers may need to leave the program early because of circumstances beyond their control. If a singer withdraws before the season ends due to illness or another unforeseen situation, a refund or tuition reduction may be available. A parent or guardian must provide written notice, preferably at least 30 days before the withdrawal date. Any refund or reduction will be based on the date Rainier Youth Choirs receives the notice. Families using an installment plan must continue payments until the required amount has been paid.
- If written notice is provided on or before September 15, the family is responsible only for the nonrefundable tuition deposit.
- If written notice is provided on or before October 15, the family is responsible for one-quarter of the annual tuition.
- If written notice is provided on or before January 2, the family is responsible for one-half of the annual tuition.
- If written notice is provided after January 2, the family is responsible for the entire annual tuition.
OTHER EXPENSES AND OBLIGATIONS
Uniforms: All groups have a casual uniform consisting of a black RYC t-shirt worn with black pants or black skirt and leggings, and solid black shoes. The first RYC t-shirt is included in registration for new members; replacement shirts and all other items are supplied by the family.
Bella Voce and Consonare also have formal uniforms in styles that vary by group and gender with prices ranging $70-$110. Pre-owned uniforms may be available at no cost, depending on donated inventory.
Concert Tickets: Each family is expected to purchase tickets and attend the formal concerts in December, March, and May. Ticket prices are $5 – $20 or pay-as-you-can. Tuition does not cover concert expenses.
Other Expenses: Fees for tours, festivals, and optional activities are not included in tuition. Additional expenses may be incurred for lost or damaged music or materials. A $25 fee may apply if pick-up is more than 5 minutes late.
Volunteering: Each family is asked to contribute either volunteer time (5-6 activities) or make a monetary donation. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available and managed through SignUpGenius.
