In 2007, the Rainier Chorale celebrated its 25th year serving the Kent community by hiring Artistic Director, Leora Schwitters, to establish a youth choir organization as partners under the umbrella of the non-profit Rainier Choral Arts organization. In 2019, RYC gained its own non-profit 501c3 status, Tax ID 46-3355150.
